The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum at the 14th Children’s Festival of Agios Nikolaos

The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum traveled for the first time to Agios Nikolaos on 29th June, 2025, where the 14th Children’s Festival welcomed us with open arms!

Children and adults alike joined Nikos Kazantzakis and his suitcase on a literary journey.
We explored the contents of his suitcase and learned about his books and the travels that shaped his life. Through replicas from the Museum’s Collections, we discovered his family, his friends, and were transported to another era.

We shared our favorite journeys, told unforgettable stories, and created our own travel books—ready to be filled with beautiful images and descriptions of the adventures yet to come.
